Journalist confirms Heung-Min Son contract extension with Tottenham

While we await announcements from Tottenham Hotspur regarding new signings or at least advancements in potential transfers during this summer window, we have some very exciting contractual news.
We had previously discussed the possibility of Heung-Min Son extending his stay with Tottenham for another year, and now the always-reliable journalist Ben Jacobs has confirmed it.
Ben Jacobs explains on his X account that the Spurs are ready to activate the clause that extends Heung-Min Son's contract by another 12 months.
Son's current contract runs until 2025, but by activating this clause, the Korean player's stay will be extended until the end of the 2025-2026 season.

Heung-Min Son, who has just turned 32, is the team captain and has been a key figure for the Spurs for many years. Fans are eagerly anticipating seeing their likely favorite player in his ideal position on the left wing, allowing another player to take over the central forward role left vacant by Harry Kane's departure to Bayern Munich.
Last season, Son played 35 matches in the Premier League, where he scored 17 goals and registered 10 assists. Not bad, eh?
