Highly rated Tottenham player to remain in first-team

According to George Sessions of PA Sport, the highly rated WIll Lankshear will stay as part of Ange Postecoglou's first-team squad.
He says that the situation could still change, but after impressing in pre-season, Lankshear leapfrogged others in the pecking order and looks "set to stay" at Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
Lankshear had been mooted for a loan move after signing a long-term contract until 2029, but it appears he is now set to stay at the club this summer.
The likes of Dane Scarlett and Alejo Veliz have departed the club on loan this summer, to Oxford United and Espanyol respectively. It was reported earlier in the summer that Lankshear had leapfrogged his aforementioned counterparts and that appears to have checked out.
With the signing of Dominic Solanke, and Richarlison appearing to stay at the club this summer, it will be interesting to see how many minutes Lankshear gets this season, but of course, Spurs will be playing a lot of games this season and the whole squad will be needed at some point.

As good as he was last season, Richarlison is also prone to injury and that could be a potential pathway for Lanskhear as Spurs compete in four competitions this season.
Fellow youngster Jamie Donley has also had an impressive pre-season, and appears to be heading out on loan to Leyton Orient, as per Alasdair Gold - so it is a testament to how highly those at Spurs rate Lankshear that they see him as someone who can immediately contribute to the first team squad.
The moment when Lankshear and Harry Kane shook hands, as both players came on as a substitutes in the game vs Bayern Munich last weekend, could become an iconic photo in Spurs folklore should the young Spurs forward go on to have a successful career at the club.
