Three possible loans for Tottenham youngster

Will Lankshear's form for Tottenham Hotspur's U21 last season, where he scored 32 goals, and subsequent pre-season form with the first team has certainly not gone unnoticed, with the young forward moving ahead of Dane Scarlett and Alejo Veliz (who has since gone on loan) in the pecking order.
Alasdair Gold confirmed earlier this summer that the plan was to loan Lankshear out this season, after the youngster committed his long-term future to Spurs by signing a 5-year contract.
It is very important that Spurs do not stunt Lankshear's development by sending him on a loan for the sake of a loan. It is important that they do their homework on how Lankshear will fit in, how much gametime he will get, and everything else.
So here are three loans that could be really good for his development.
Three possible loans for Tottenham youngster
First option - Wrexham AFC in League One. Wrexham have enjoyed a very rapid rise up the leagues under the stewardship of famous actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
Manager Phil Parkinson tends to set up with a gung-ho 3412 set up, with Wrexham generally winning end-to-end games with their opponents over the last couple of years. Let's just say Wrexham are much more likely to win a game 5-4 than 1-0.
Wrexham fans have been crying out for a striker all summer. They tried to sign John McAtee from Luton Town, but divisional rivals Bolton Wanderers beat them to the punch,
The only current Wrexham striker proven at or above League One are Steven Fletcher and Jack Marriott, who are not expected to be starters this season. Fletcher is 37, and Marriott only started 3 of 17 in League Two.
Paul Mullin is their first choice striker, but has been injured since April. Wrexham consistently play on the front foot and find ways to always create chances for their strikers. At National League and League Two level, Mullin has scored 88 goals in 122 games, showing just how many strikers create for their strikers. Should Lankshear join them, and get consistent minutes, he will have plenty of chances to score consistently.
Second option - Oxford United in the Championship. Oxford were promoted via the play-offs and are consistently looking for recruits to help them try and survive in their first season at the level for 25 years. Oxford are a bit light up front - Mark Harris scored 15 goals in League One last season but Max Woltman has never played above League Two level and Will Goodwin could only accrue 14 starts in League One.
Oxford will be up against it next season, but do have players capable of creating chances for Lankshear, such as Cameron Brannagan, Malcolm Ebiowei, Louis Sibley, Ruben Rodrigues, and the experienced Matt Phillips. A loan at a team that don't win loads of games can often be a real learning curve for a player, and if he is still able to have a good individual season, even better. Des Buckingham is seen as a very bright young coach that can develop young players.
Third and final option - Plymouth Argyle in the Championship. Like Des Buckingham, Wayne Rooney is seen as a manager capable of developing young players. Like Oxford, Plymouth are up against it next season but it can be a good environment for a young player like Lankshear. He would have service from players like Morgan Whittaker, Bali Mumba and Mustapha Bundu.
Ashley Phillips had a productive loan at Plymouth last season and there is every chance Lankshear could too. Plymouth could do with as striker, with not too much proven quality for the level, and interestingly played two up front in their last pre-season friendly.
