Premier League legend and BBC Pundit Alan Shearer's match week six team of the week, includes as many as four Tottenham Hotspur players - with all of Micky van de Ven, Brennan Johnson, Dejan Kulusevski, and James Maddison being included - as well as Ange Postecoglu being named as his manager of the week to top it off.

All four players are more than deserving of their spot in the team, with Kulusevski and Maddison seriously thriving in this new setup with both players playing as number eights, either side of Rodrigo Bentancur who has been tasked with holding it all down. Something he is currently doing very well.

There was no way that van de Ven was not going to be included after his incredible, viral assist as well as keeping a clean sheet to go with it. It is great to see Johnson getting some praise outside of the Spurs fanbase, after an absolutely superb couple of weeks for the Welsh winger.

Other players could have been included, with Dominic Solanke having an excellent all-round performance, but Liam Delap's two goals against Aston Villa make that selection fair game. That too, and five players in the team would feel slightly overkill, even if you could make a case for all of them.

Ironically enough, it was Shearer himself who was critical of Solanke's game last month. Since those comments, the striker has scored three goals in four games and has really managed to get his feet under the table in North London.

That said, the comments were referring to Solanke not managing to get the ball out of his feet quick enough for his chance in the North London derby - the same actually did happen early on in the win over United, but that is nitpicking a little and something you hope will improve for Solanke in due course.

Let's hope for a similar amount of players included when Spurs travel to Brighton and Hove Albion this Sunday.
