Tottenham's winger Manor Solomon is still a hot topic of conversation. The 24-year-old Israeli international, who joined Spurs last summer under pretty unique circumstances, now faces an uncertain future, with reports hinting that his time at the club could be coming to an end.

Solomon arrived at Tottenham on a free transfer, benefiting from FIFA's extended compensation rules for foreign players affected by the conflict in Ukraine.

His arrival was seen as a smart piece of business, given his impressive record with Shakhtar Donetsk, where he scored 22 goals and registered nine assists across 106 appearances.

Solomon quickly expressed a deep connection to Tottenham, particularly because of its rich Jewish heritage, which resonated with him on a personal level.

However, his stint at Spurs has been far from smooth. A serious meniscus injury in his right knee sidelined him for the majority of the 2023-2024 season. The injury required surgery, followed by a second minor procedure, which further delayed his return to full fitness.

As a result, Solomon managed just 198 minutes of Premier League action across five appearances, during which he provided two assists but struggled to make the desired impact.

Now, renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano recently reported that despite rejecting a formal bid from Spanish side Getafe, Solomon is still expected to depart Tottenham before the window closes.

The winger's preference is to remain in England, where he feels more at home, suggesting that any potential move would likely involve another Premier League club.

For Tottenham, parting ways with Solomon could open up room in the squad and give him a fresh opportunity, likely at a club where he can rebuild his confidence and display the skills that once made him a standout at Shakhtar, or Fulham.
