Ange Postecoglou's men continued their perfect start to pre-season with a 3-2 win against their hosts Vissel Kobe.

Yuya Osoko gave the hosts the lead 9 minutes in before Pedro Porro equalized for Spurs having been found inside the box by Dejan Kulusevski, who is currently of interest to Napoli.

Son then gave Spurs the lead 3 minutes into the second half having been found in space by Brennan Johnson during a ruthless transition, before Brazilian Jean Patric equalised after 64 minutes.

Then, after 88 minutes, Mikey Moore continued his impressive pre-season form by scoring the winner after being superbly set up by Jamie Donley, and Spurs came out as 3-2 victors in Kobe.

Spurs starting XI was Vicario; Porro, Royal, Gray, Davies; Sarr, Bissouma; Kulusevski, Maddison, Johnson; Son.

Brandon Austin, Jamie Donley, Lucas Bergvall, and Oliver Skipp replaced Vicario, Davies, Maddison, and Bissouma respectively at half-time.

Moore and Solomon replaced Johnson and Son on the hour mark. Lankshear, Abbott, Spence, Devine and Phillips replaced Royal, Porro, Sarr, Kulusevski, and Gray 5 minutes later.

There is plenty to be excited about, with Moore and Donley once again impressing, Son getting back on the scoresheet, and Gray impressing in central defense again. Albeit, Spurs fans are excited to see Gray in midfield.

Luca Gunter, Tyrese Hall, Alejo Veliz, and Dane Scarlett were the unused substitutes. It is interesting to note that Lankshear and Moore appear to currently be ahead of Veliz and Scarlett in the Spurs pecking order. There had already been reports that Lankshear was impressing more than those two in training too.

Of course, conceding two goals to Vissel Kobe is not the optimal preparation for the season, but with Destiny Udogie, Micky Van De Ven, and Cristian Romero unavailable, it is not always going to be plain sailing at the back and context must always be applied.

Spurs will next face the K-League All stars on Wednesday, with kick-off being 12pm UK time.
