2 Tottenham players with contracts expiring in 2024
By Kian Long
The future is looking bright for Tottenham Hotspur. They have an excellent manager with a long-term vision and a plethora of great young players, with more coming through the ranks and set to join the club. A positive summer transfer window in 2024 could see Ange Postecoglou push for the title in the next season. However, there remains 2 Tottenham players with contracts expiring in 2024.
2 Tottenham players with contracts expiring in 2024
1. Timo Werner
The first Tottenham player whose contract is set to expire in the summer of 2024 is Timo Werner, but this won't come as a shock to anyone. The forward has made 5 Premier League appearances since he signed on loan from RB Leipzig and it remains to be seen whether Spurs will take up their option to buy.
In my opinion, it would be a wise choice. Werner is an excellent attacker who can exploit pockets of space well. His creativity has truly shone through since returning to London, already providing two assists. He is an Ange Postecoglou-style player whose versatility makes him an excellent addition and one who Ange Postecoglou should consider bringing in permanently.

2. Brandon Austin
The second Tottenham player whose contract expires in 2024 is Brandon Austin, the 25-year-old goalkeeper. Although it's a shame to let anyone go on a free transfer, Ange Postecoglou is not likely to include Austin in his future plans, so he is more than likely going to leave Spurs this summer.
Having been with the first-team since 2019, the Hemel Hempstead-born shot-stopper has spent two years out on loan and hasn't made an appearance yet for Tottenham. Therefore, the best case scenario for all parties would be to part ways in the summer.
