Tottenham are back in action on Tuesday night, heading to Anfield to take on Liverpool in the third round of the Carabao Cup. Spurs are winless in the Premier League, drawing 0-0 with Everton over the weekend, with some fans booing the performance.
But they have found a little success in the cup, and Roberto De Zerbi will be hoping there is more to cheer about on Tuesday night. Liverpool are also struggling, and they do played out a goalless draw over the weekend, drawing with Fulham.
Ahead of Tuesday night's game, we have rounded up the latest injury news surrounding both teams.
Conor Bradley - Out
Bradley is rehabing from his long-term knee injury, and he won't be back until late November. Iraola has said: “I think he is not close to training with the team. He’s training alone but he has started touching the ball. Definitely I want him as quick as possible ready but it’s a long-term injury.
Hugo Ekitike - Out
Ekitike will be back around the same time after his calf setback.
Giovanni Leoni - Out
Leoni is recovering from a long-term knee injury but should be back in early November. Iraola said recently: "I think the plan is also to start training during the [international] break, with the group."
Federico Chiesa - Out
Chiesa is the next one to return from Liverpool's longer term injury list, expected to return after the international break from his back injury.
Joe Gomez - Fit
Iraola said in his pre-match press conference: “He is training with the team. I think he’s going to be available for tomorrow and now it’s a matter of deciding how much he can play and what is the best thing to do.”
Xavi Simons - Out
Simons is recovering from a ruptured ACL and will not be available until at least February.
Wilson Odobert- Out
It is the same story for Odobert, but the winger will return this year if all goes well, likely in early December, or pehaps a little later.
Destiny Udogie - Doubt
Udogie picked up a small muscular injury in the lead up to the weekend's game and will remain a doubt here.
Pedro Porro - Doubt
The same applies for Pedro Porro.
Dejan Kulusevski - Out
Kulusevski has been out for well over a year and does not particularly close to returning. De Zerbi said last week: "Kulusevski is not working with us in the last week. No big problem. The normal problem when one player is out of long time!"
