Crystal Palace has entered advanced talks to sign Bilal El Khannouss from Leicester City. He's believed to be their replacement for Tottenham-bound Eberechi Eze.

Today, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is believed to be in direct talks with Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish over the sale of Eberechi Eze. The England international played for Crystal Palace as recently as yesterday, but in a quick turnaround, his Palace future is up for debate.

This doesn't come as news to Tottenham fans, who may already be pre-ordering their Eze jerseys as we speak. However, it's pretty cool to see Levy spearheading this move yet again.

Leicester is helping Tottenham again in the transfer market

According to Sacha Tavolieri, Crystal Palace is now in advanced talks to sign Bilal El Khannouss from Leicester City. The journalist informed Sky Sports that Spurs signing Eberechi Eze is immiment, and El Khannouss will act as his direct replacement.

Bilal El Khannouss will obviously be a huge loss for Leicester City. He's one of the most exciting players at the club and, unfortunately, losing him is a natural byproduct of playing in the Championship.

El Khannouss is one of those players who deserve better than playing in the second tier of English football. He's going to get his deserved promotion back to the Premier League, to the FA Cup and Community Shield champions, no less.

When this deal is finalized, it will set Palace up in a better position to sell Eze. Look, Eze is the better player of the two, but at least Crystal Palace has something to fall back on now.

And we can't overlook the involvement of Leicester City in this. Where there's a Fox, there's a way.

Leicester was the team that originally gifted James Maddison to Tottenham back in 2023. Now that the England international is injured for a significant amount of time, the Foxes are helping Spurs to sign his interim replacement.

With Mohammed Kudus already in flying form and Eberechi Eze soon to join the fray, James Maddison will be returning from injury to a fearsome attacking hub.

Those three players will be the three main providers for Tottenham when they play together, and Leicester will be responsible for two of them - One directly (Maddison) and one indirectly (Eze).
