Randal Kolo Muani is now Tottenham bound, as Fabrizio Romano has put together his routine "Here We Go" label. Something about this transfer feels big.

Heading into transfer deadline day, nobody expected Tottenham to still be making deals happen. They acquired the impressive Xavi Simons, who is believed to be a game-changing signing for Spurs.

After the Dutch international was unveiled at Hotspur Way, it was believed that Tottenham would be quiet. However, Daniel Levy had other plans.

Over the last 24 hours, Tottenham has been working hard to complete the signing of Randal Kolo Muani. The PSG forward was made available by the Parisians, and Juventus didn't take up the offer.

Tottenham has signed Randal Kolo Muani, says Fabrizio Romano

According to Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham has been efficient in the transfer window, and they have signed Randal Kolo Muani. The deal is done, and it's a loan move. Spurs do not need to commit to buying Muani, as there is no obligation to buy in this deal.

Randal Kolo Muani likely pushed for this move, as Romano revealed that he wanted out of the project. While it's not a long-term move, Tottenham can at least give him a temporary home, then evaluate the next steps at the end of his loan deal.

Randal Kolo Muani is a big game player, and he was one of the stars of the show in the 2022 World Cup final. Despite being on the losing team, Muani won a penalty for Kylian Mbappe to convert, and he also converted his own in the penalty shootout. Muani might have even had the final say by scoring late, had it not been prevented by Emi Martinez's Save of the Century.

It's been the tale of his story so far. He's always been on the cusp of greatness, but never quite experienced it. It was just his luck that he was loaned out while PSG won the Champions League for the first time.

But now, he's going on loan to fellow European champions, Spurs. Under Thomas Frank, Muani could make a great career, and it will be in his objectives to impress Spurs enough to make a permanent move for him.

For now, Muani will provide backup to Dominic Solanke. The English striker is injured, and the fear is that he may need to undergo surgery for the injury. This would mean that Muani has an open place in the Spurs lineup to impress.
