Tottenham 'ITKs' are starting to purr and there's plenty of buzz surrounding Eberechi Eze, who has been linked with a move to north London for years.
Eze enjoyed a superb end to the season as Crystal Palace ended their seemingly perpetual wait for a major trophy by beating Manchester City in the FA Cup final. The in-form Eze scored the game's only goal at Wembley, which means the Eagles will be competing in next season's Europa League.
Despite their unprecedented continental venture, there's a chance their star playmaker departs Selhurst Park this summer. In truth, links with Spurs haven't been concrete, but plenty of those who supposedly know a thing or two about the club's transfer dealings believe the England international is on our radar.

Steve Parish isn't one for letting his key assets leave without much fuss. Wilfried Zaha was Palace's star for a decade and relentlessly linked with a move away, but Parish was never willing to facilitate his sale for anything but a premium price.
The Eagles have reportedly turned down multiple offers from clubs for Marc Guehi, including Spurs in January, while Adam Wharton has quickly garnered plenty of attention.
However, Michael Olise's move last summer should give us hope that landing Eze this summer could be relatively stress-free. Numerous reports suggest that the England international has a £68m release clause, and several Spurs 'ITKs', including Paul O'Keefe, understand that Palace would be willing to accept this fee in three instalments as opposed to one lump sum. O'Keefe adds that three £20m instalments plus £8m in add-ons may be enough to sign Eze this summer. Doable, right?
It's actually changed now I'm led to believe. Prepared to take 3 instalments x £20m

It would certainly seem that way, but Parish won't let his dazzling playmaker leave without a fight. Negotiations between him and Daniel Levy will be arduous despite O'Keefe's report, and we shouldn't expect a simple solution should Spurs pursue the 26-year-old with two years left on his contract.
New manager Thomas Frank is said to be a fan, and why wouldn't he be? While Eze's stock is at an all-time high as a result of his form to end 2024/25, the Palace playmaker is one of those players who would just look right in a Tottenham shirt.
Spurs have James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski as creative midfield options, although the latter is set to miss the start of next season with a knee injury. Maddison also hasn't had the best injury record since joining the club. Eze is an alternative profile who's also capable of performing down the left.
If Son Heung-min departs as expected later this summer, Spurs will need a new "face of the franchise". Eze fits the bill.
