So far, Tottenham Hotspur have signed six new players in the summer 2026 transfer window, with Roberto De Zerbi demanding three blockbuster additions in particular: midfielders Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes, as well as former Brighton center back Jan Paul van Hecke.
Now, Spurs are turning their attention to the front line, and here are three dream transfer targets Spurs can bring in this summer to give De Zerbi what he needs offensively. This list isn't about players who have been linked to Spurs like Cody Gakpo, but rather about the absolute best of the best - the unrealistic yet maybe, just maybe possible.
Bayern Munich ST Harry Kane
Obviously, the list begins with Bayern Munich superstar Harry Kane, who was the best player in world football last season with 36 goals and 5 assists in the Bundesliga, as well as 14 Champions League goals in just 13 appearances with 3.3 dribbles completed and fouls drawn per game in Europe's premier competition.
Kane wants to stay with Bayern and is about to renegotiate a new deal to keep him there, and the rumors loosely linking Kane with a Tottenham reunion last summer have mostly subsided. But Spurs fans will never stop dreaming of the world's best No. 9 coming back home to play for a more competent side under Roberto De Zerbi.
Bayern Munich LW Luis Diaz
Of these two Bayern Munich superstar forwards, former Liverpool Premier League champion Luis Diaz is actually a somewhat realistic get for Tottenham Hotspur, because he is actually potentially on the move with Saudi Pro League giants Al Hilal highly interested.
Now, Diaz rejected Al Hilal and Bayern do not seem interested in selling a player central to their Champions League hopes, plus, Tottenham do not have the money to offer Diaz. But Tottenham are a top Premier League team with a lot of ambition and a need for a new left winger. If anyone stands a chance at convincing the Colombian to come back to England, then it's De Zerbi.
Inter Milan ST Lautaro Martinez
Tottenham reallly need a new striker. Richarlison can still stick around as Roberto De Zerbi's veteran backup after scoring 11 goals in the Premier League for a terrible Spurs side last season, but he and Dominic Solanke cannot be the only two options at striker if Spurs are to get back to the Champions League.
Spurs would gladly take either Lautaro Martinez or Marcus Thuram, and while the 28 year olds are entrenched for the Serie A champions, if Tottenham offer enough, maybe they could convince the Nerazzurri to sell with a couple of highly promising strikers behind them.
Lautaro is the better goal scorer of the two, and Tottenham need a special athlete who can bring goals to the table. The Argentinian can be streaky, but he's still a lot more consistent than either Richy or Solanke.
