After reportedly rejecting a move to Valencia, Tottenham may finally be moving Tanguy Ndombele out on loan to PSG, will other moves follow this domino for Spurs?

Maybe it is squad numbers, maybe it is chemistry, maybe it really is about money but it seems Tottenham Hotspur needs to move players out before they can move players in. If that is the case, one has to hope that the reports of a deal almost finalized with Paris Saint Germain for the loan of wantaway midfielder Tanguy Ndombele are true.

Tottenham has several teams interested in Ndombele

Again, this is if you believe all of the various reports in the media, Tottenham had feelers out with several teams for Ndombele and a couple – Everton and Valencia – were both serious about the midfielder, along with the Parisians.

Having had an unenviable experience in London, returning home to France seemed the only real goal for Ndombele. That and the Champions League football PSG offer.  Now according to the Telegraph Spurs are in advanced negotiations for Ndombele to move to PSG on loan, with an option to buy.

If this is truly the case, Tottenham must act quickly and finalize this deal with PSG. Getting the door opened to move out players to make space for new players seems to be necessary, so you have to wonder if this is the first of hopefully several moves over the next few days Fabio Paratici and Spurs.

If Ndombele is moved, that opens the door for midfielder Sofyan Amrabat to join on loan with Spurs as has been reported. From there, it is about who else can be moved. Hopefully, Ndombele’s loan is followed by a similar move for Dele Alli, maybe to Newcastle again opening some space in the squad.

While I do not fully agree with the idea of having to move players to bring in players, when teams like Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester City keep stockpiling players; Tottenham is what it is, and we have to hope Ndobmele really is leaving and from there we watch the dominos start to fall.
