Tottenham Hotspur played another close match, yet continues to find ways to win without all 11 players quite hitting their stride, so who rated well from Sunday’s win over Watford?

Tottenham Hotspur was far from their best on Sunday afternoon at home against Watford. However, as was the case with the Wolves and Manchester City before, the Spurs did just enough and found a way to win. Here are our player ratings from the win over the Hornets.

Heung-Min Son – Player of the Game

On an afternoon when Harry Kane was back in the side, it was the Spurs South Korean sensation who carried the day for Tottenham. Tottenham had 15 shots on the afternoon and no one had more than Son’s three. Spurs had eight total shots on target and against Son had the most with two.

As we all know, whether the ball Son struck was meant to be a cross, a pass, or a shot, one of those two shots on target was the free-kick that Sonny swerved past Daniel Bachmann for the game’s only goal. Add in a team-high three dribbles and two big passes and it was again Son’s day to shine for the Spurs.

So Heung-Min Son was our player of the game, read on for our full ratings report.
