Tottenham, who haven’t won in three straight Premier League matches, get set for a short trip to Watford, one of the top flight’s in-form sides.

Team update

Tanguy Ndombele is struggling to find fitness after suffering a groin injury a few weeks back. He isn’t expected to feature against Watford on Saturday. His midfield partner, Moussa Sissoko, is recovering from surgery and will be out until the spring. Harry Kane is the other long-term injury absentee.

There is, however, some great news on the injury front: Hugo Lloris and Ben Davies are expected back in short succession, with both scheduled to join full training in the next week or so. Lloris is probably just ahead of Davies, but the pair will return to bolster Tottenham’s rearguard well ahead of the club’s pivotal round of 16 Champions League tie with RB Leipzig.
