Champions League final recap

It was a week ago yesterday Tottenham made history by appearing in their first Champions League final. An eternally disappointing encounter, Tottenham had all sorts of difficulties adapting after conceding an early penalty. Some blame the gaffer’s team selection while others feel simply we just weren’t good enough on the day. On which side of the fence do you stand?

A week ago Spurs supporters worldwide were inconsolable, with ample reason. Now that the dust has settled, one can look back on Spurs’ Champions League journey with admiration and pride. Losing the final was devastating, but advancing to the showcase match in the dramatic, epic way we did is something Tottenham supporters should be forever proud of. That is of little solace to some, but the boys did us proud, providing countless heart-stopping moments nobody will soon forget.
