Tottenham: Watch Harry Kane’s 30 Premier League goals from 2017-18
By Gary Pearson
Remember, about four seasons ago, when neutrals and antagonists thought Harry Kane was going to be a one-season wonder?
That claim, even then, was seen by Spurs supporters as farcical, as we knew Kane was bound for superstardom. we didn’t realize, however, that he was capable of scoring almost a goal per match in every feasible fashion.
Kane has bagged at least 20 goals in four consecutive Premier League campaigns. Not only has he reached the 20-goal milestone in every season since 2014/15, but he has improved his tally year on year.
In 2014/15 he enjoyed his breakout season, scoring 21 goals in 34 appearances, five of which with his head, five with his left and 11 with his preferred right foot. Two of his 21 goals came from the penalty spot.
In 2015/16 Kane bagged 25 goals in 38 appearances. It was the only season Spurs’ talisman managed to start every Premier League match. In that campaign, Kane scored one with his head, 19 with his right and five with his left boot. He also converted five penalties.
Scoring 29 goals in 30 appearances, Kane enjoyed his most prolific campaign in 2016/17. He finished two with his head, 20 with his right and seven on his left foot. Five goals came from the spot.
Favourite Kane goal of the 2017-18 season
Which brings us to 2017/18, the season that just culminated in Kane scoring the team’s most important goal of the season, against Newcastle, which ensured Spurs’ 2018/19 Champions League qualification. It also marked the first time Kane scored 30 goals, hitting that milestone against Leicester during the final match.
This season saw Kane score the most headed (6) and left-footed goals (10) of any season. He added 13 from his dominant right boot. It was his most balanced goal-scoring campaign, showing there is no limit to what Spurs’ leading man is capable of.
While it’s almost impossible to select a favourite, I’m compelled to choose his left-footed curler away to Huddersfield on Sept. 30. By no means was it his most important goal for the club this season, but it certainly proved he has absolutely everything in his locker.

Pulling the ball across the defender, Kane calmly dispatched a magnificent curling shot from beyond the area. That particular strike comes at the 1:07 mark of the below highlight package.
What is your favourite Kane goal of the season? And do you expect him to once again eclipse the 30-goal mark in the 2018-19 campaign? We’d love to hear your thoughts.
