In our weekly Twitter roundup, an emotionally charged tweet takes the headlines: Who is the bigger traitor, Mike Dean or Sol Campbell?

First of all, there is no way Mike Dean can be a traitor since he never had any allegiance whatsoever to Spurs. Forget all the nonsense you might read about Dean’s perceived Tottenham bias. It’s about as true as Campbell saying his heart belongs to Spurs. Campbell, as he had a deep-lying connection with Tottenham, is clearly the only traitor in this tweet.

The fickle, nefarious center back turned to the dark side after spending almost a decade with Tottenham. His transfer to Arsenal is one of the most blatant disregards for the sacrosanct that is Tottenham Hotspur Football Club. Imagine if Steven Gerrard sold out Liverpool, instead deciding his services were better placed at Goodison. I shudder to think what the ramifications for Gerrard would have been. The only difference is the quality of player in question, but Campbell was, at the time, rated as one of England’s best center backs. So that excuse doesn’t fly either.

Kendrick Lamar is a Spurs supporter

Kendrick Lamar confirmed he is a Spurs supporter last week. At least we got this one over you Arsenal. This minuscule consolation doesn’t come close to mending the deep, permanent wounds suffered by losing to Arsenal on Saturday. Sorry Kendrick. Glad to have you aboard nonetheless but you better not betray the badge and ever contemplate going to the dark side of North London.

Spurs go marching in

To boost morale ahead of the Champions League match tonight in Dortmund, how about a rendition of The Spurs Go Marching In?  You’ll know immediately, if shivers don’t run down your spine while listening, that there could be traitorous blood running through your veins. Isn’t that right, Sol?
