Tottenham Twitter Tuesday: Everyone loves a singalong, right?
By Gary Pearson
As Spurs get set to start their Carabao Cup campaign tonight against Barnsley, a Tottenham singalong is making its rounds.
The song is receiving mixed reviews to say the least.
Robbie Keane made his Spurs début
Fifteen years ago on Sept. 15, Robbie Keane made his Tottenham début. You might remember it, but if you don’t, fear not. Here’s his first goal in Spurs’ colours, which came away against Blackburn Rovers in his first appearance.
Keane scored 90 goals for Spurs in two separate stints with the club, his most memorable being from 2002-2008. The Irishman, who will forever be known for his ability to win a match in the blink of an eye, made 238 appearances for Tottenham.
Oh, and how can anyone ever forget his notorious celebratory cartwheels? Thanks for the memories, Robbie.
Everyone loves a good singalong, right?
This is one of those songs that is going to stick with you no matter what. By no means is it a classic, but it’s catchy. And you’ll find yourself singing it when you least expect it. Let’s see what kind of splash it makes before it shrinks into the periphery.
Prepare to be inked
Alex has made a bold promise going into Spurs’ away Champions League match in Madrid on Oct. 17. He will get the date and score line tattooed if Tottenham escape the Bernabeu with all three points.
Next: Kyle Walker-Peters included on Golden Boy shortlist
Tottenham will have their hands full for this match, but the lads often perform at their best under the most difficult circumstances. Have you decided where on your body you’re getting the tattoo, Alex? You should start planning for that eventuality!
