Tottenham pair Dele Alli and Hugo Lloris took home honors at the 2017 London Awards after great individual seasons thus far.

Although the 2016-17 season is still a little over two months away from wrapping up, the London Awards have already announced winners.

While none of Tottenham’s players and manager won the two most prestigious honors, Dele Alli, Hugo Lloris, Mauricio Pochettino and Danny Rose were recognized for their efforts this year, with Alli and Lloris taking home two awards.

The London Young Player of the Year award (Under-23) for Alli and the London Goalkeeper of the Year for Lloris.

Dele Alli was nominated alongside Arsenal pair Héctor Bellerín and Alex Iwobi, former Charlton Athletic player, now Everton star, Ademola Lookman and Fulham’s Ryan Sessesgnon.

In 36 appearances this season, Alli has scored 14 goals and recorded six assists in all competitions. Twelve of Alli’s goals have come in 25 Premier League matches.

During the month of January, the 20-year-old attacking midfielder tallied five goals and one assist during a four-game run. Wherein Alli scored back-to-back braces against Watford and Chelsea to win January’s Premier League Player of the Month award.

When you look back at Alli’s last 10 league matches, he scored nine goals with one assist. Three games, all in a row, with a brace one after another.

That stretch of games from mid-December to mid-January likely wasn’t the main reason behind Dele Alli’s selection to win the London Young Player of the Year award for the second season running.

But, it’s a good bet that his individual efforts as both a creative playmaker and goalscoring threat this season in just 36 matches in all competitions made him a likely nominee to repeat as a winner.

As for Hugo Lloris, in 31 appearances, the Frenchman has conceded 26 goals and kept 12 clean sheets in all competitions.

In 23 league games, with Lloris between the sticks, Spurs have never allowed more than two goals this season.

Lloris has only conceded 17 times but has kept 10 clean sheets in the process.

Nominated alongside Lloris were Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois, QPR’s Alex Smithies, West Ham’s Darren Randolph and Millwall’s Jordan Archer.

Now despite certain games where Hugo Lloris is rarely called into action, due to a Spurs defense that is difficult to breakdown, when Lloris does have to make a save, he makes some very good ones to keep opponents out of the net.

The 30-year-old has been one of the Premier League’s best goalkeepers in recent seasons and when compared to other world-class shot-stoppers, Hugo Lloris is up there within the top five.

Both Spurs players picking up their respective awards shows how this team under Mauricio Pochettino is being recognized as a club that is slowly rising to become one of Europe’s elites.

Speaking of Pochettino, although he didn’t walk away with the London Manager of the Year award, which went to Antonio Conte, he was at least nominated.

Winning this award would only solidify what everyone has known about the Argentine manager since he came to England, that he’s one of the best managers in football today.

Lastly, Danny Rose and Dele Alli were nominated for the Premier League Player of the Year award that was won by N’Golo Kante.

What’s great to see was Rose’s nomination for this honor.

The 26-year-old has missed about a month with a left MCL injury, but when he’s been healthy, he’s arguably one of the best left-backs in England and one of the key players who makes Spurs’ three back system work flawlessly
