Manic Twenty Four Hours For Tottenham Transfer Rumours

The past twenty four hours has been manic for the number of Tottenham transfer rumours across the media linking Spurs with players in England and Europe.

Yesterday there were the two big transfer stories linking Tottenham with a bid for Romelu Lukaku and the news that West Ham United were preparing a move for Totenham captain and Hull City target, Michael Dawson. There were also reports of renewed interest from Spurs in the Belgium striker, Divock Origi and suggestions that they were interested in Morgan Schneiderlin from Southampton.

Tottenham Transfer Rumours

There were other numerous snippets of information on possible Tottenham targets or players who had been linked with Tottenham previously.

Yacine Bramihi

The French-born midfield player had been linked with Tottenham following his performances for Algeria in the World Cup. The 24-year-old, attacking midfielder/winger, started his career with Rennes and played for the France Under-age teams. He joined Granada last season and in February opted to play for Algeria in the World Cup.

Playing alongside Tottenham’s Nabil Bentaleb he scored his first goal for Algeria in the 4 – 2 group match win over South Korea. @TalkingTHFC tweeted ESPN’s reference to Spurs’ interest in Bramihi.

Talksport reported that FC Porto are also interested in the player.

Jamaal Lascelles

The Daily Mail report that Tottenham are preparing a bid of £5m for the young England and Nottingham Forest central defender. If Spurs were to complete the signing it would be their intention to loan Lascelles back to Forest to enable him to get further experience playing regularly for a top Championship side.

Ricardo Rodriguez

The Daily Mail have also reported on Tottenham’s interest in the Switzerland and Wolfsburg left-back, Ricardo Rodriguez but Spurs are facing serious competition, according to a tweet by @HotspurRelated.

Karl Darlow

Tottenham have been linked with Karl Darlow, the Nottingham Forest goalkeeper and the Daily Express reports that Arsenal and Liverpool are also interested.

Memphis Depay

The 20-year-old Holland winger has been linked with Tottenham during the World Cup in Brazil but according to @AddictedtoSpurs, his manager at PSV, Phillip Cocu, has said that Memphis Depay has to stay for at least another season but there’s been no contact.

Imoh Ezekiel

@HotspurRelated report that SL10 claim Tottenham have made contact with Standard Liege to sign young striker Imoh Ezekiel. It is thought that Spurs would loan him back to Liege initially due to work permit regulations.

And so it goes on with the first rumour of the day being suggestions that Tottenham and Liverpool are in competition to sign Ajax defensive midfielder, Daley Blind. This has been reported by @TalkingTHFC, passing on a tweet by @Ladbrokes.
