1) Dejan Kulusevski

Dejan Kulusevski has simply been absolutely unbelievable this season. Playing in a new role this season, as one of two number eights in a 433 set up, the Swedish international is playing his best football he has played in his time at Spurs.

In 618 Premier League minutes, Kulusevski has two goals, one assist, three big chances created, and 2.9 chances created per game. Whilst Spurs were struggling to break West Ham down in the early stages, he was the one player able to take players out of the game, and got the goal to put Ange’s side back on level terms.

He has been one of the best players in the Premier League full stop so far this season, and deserves all of the plaudits that are currently coming his way. Like Porro, he is also continuing this form for his national team, with similar level performances for Sweden.

Honourable mentions go to Micky van de Ven, Destiny Udogie, Yves Bissouma, and Heung Min-Son. Son would almost certainly be here if not for his injury, particularly as you imagine he would have absolutely thrived in those games that he did miss.
