With the weekend upon us, it is time for another loan watch update, to remind you of how this week’s slate is looking for Tottenham Hotspur loanees, in all of their different competitions. Let’s take a look at how it is all shaping up. All games on Saturday unless stated.

How this weekend's slate of fixtures look for Spurs loanees

As most of you will be aware – it is FA Cup third round weekend, and as a result there are no games in the Premier League nor the Championship. Let’s take a look at the loanees playing in the FA Cup.

We’ll start with Dane Scarlett and his Oxford United side, who travel to the South West to face League One side Exeter City. The striker has found game time hard to come by recently, but this could be a good opportunity to get back into the XI, with Gary Rowett no doubt looking to rotate after the intense schedule. Kick off 15:00 GMT.

Elsewhere, Ashley Phillips and Stoke City make the trip to the North East, as they face Sunderland for the third time in a little over a month, for Mark Robins’ second game in charge. Another 15:00 GMT kick off for that one.

Later on in the day, Josh Keeley, Jamie Donley, and their Leyton Orient side host Championship outfit Derby County, as both players look to continue their incredible form – with Keeley being nominated for League One player of the month. 18:00 GMT kick off for that one.

The only Spurs player playing a game in the EFL tomorrow is George Abbott, as his Notts County side travel to play Grimsby Town. Notts have won four of their previous five games, and could go second with all three points here. 12:30 GMT kick off there.

Then, we have the return of continental football. First of all, Bryan Gil and his Girona side will face Alaves on the road for their first game back, with a 13:00 GMT kick off for that one.

Meanwhile, Alejo Veliz and his RCD Espanyol will be looking to escape the bottom three when they host Leganes later on in the day, with a 17;30 GMT kick off there.

Finally, Luka Vuskovic, Alfie Devine, and their KVC Westerlo side are back in action for the first time since Boxing Day, as they host St. Truidense in the Belgian Pro League, with a 15:00 GMT kick off there.
