Tottenham Hotspur and new manager Roberto De Zerbi are just starting to overhaul the squad after another ghastly 17th placed finish in the Premier League. They have already brought in three defenders in Andrew Robertson, Marcos Senesi, and Jan Paul van Hecke to upgrade the quality and the experience of the side, and De Zerbi is going hard after two potential blockbuster midfield signings in Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali.

But there is a key departure looming ahead for Tottenham and an agonizing transfer situation that is quickly become a nuisance for Spurs supporters. No, it is not the fate of Cristian Romero, because the supporters have already made complete peace with the captain's inevitable transfer after he showed the club he clearly does not want to be here anymore.

There is another talented center back who is showing Spurs fans that he has no intention of giving his all to the club. Luka Vuskovic has been using his reps to throw tantrums in the media over either starting immediately or being transferred immediately to the perennial powerhouse contenders that is, ahem, Brighton, who offered a disgusting lowball 30 million euro offer for one of the best Bundesliga defenders of the 2025/26 season.

Luka Vuskovic is being ridiculous

Vuskovic is making it clear that he does not want another loan, even though everyone could plainly see in his duties for the Croatian national team against actual proven Premier League stars on the England national team that he is nowhere near ready to start for Tottenham Hotspur.

Well, Luak Vuskovic continues to antagonize himself to the Spurs faithful. He is still pushing for a transfer to Brighton, of all places, and recently liked a post on social media from Fabrizio Romano regarding the latest transfer offer from the Seagulls of 45 million pounds. (Spurs, by the way, value him at 60 million pounds).

Tottenham fans are rightfully incensed by what Vuskovic is doing and how he has conducted himself. The replies tell the whole story. They are fed up with Vuskovic, and the ego of this young player is alarming. He had one great season in the Bundesliga - and his issues against England may point to Hamburg's system protecting his weaknesses - and he already thinks that he is bigger than the club that gave him a chance. And now he wants out to Brighton permanently, not just on loan.

It is one of the most disgraceful ways a young player can treat their parent club, and Roberto De Zerbi is sure as heck not going to tolerate this kind of immaturity and disrespect. If Vuskovic keeps this up, Tottenham will just say good riddance, and his games will become an all time hate watch. This is getting ridiculous, and someone smarter than his current reps needs to get in his ear. All this for Brighton? Seriously.
