One Tottenham star is remaining committed to the cause despite talk he could leave the club. Spurs are in a mess currently, still in the relegation zone and two points from safety with time running out.

With relegation still a strong possibility, a number of players are already being linked with an exit, but Radu Dragusin's agent has suggested that there is nothing on the table for his client at this stage.

The next few weeks are going to be monumental for Tottenham, who will be buoyed, entering this final run, by their first win under Roberto De Zerbi, which came against Wolves over the weekend.

The downside was that West Ham and and Nottingham Forest also won, so Spurs' hope of making up ground turned into simply keeping pace.

Nevertheless, Tottenham have kept themselves in the race, and they know they need to focus on taking care of their own business and win games if they are going to have a chance.

And it will be interesting to see if Dragusin gets an improved role, with the defender, who returned from a serious knee injury in December, having only played a single minute of game time under De Zerbi so far.

Dragusin was left on the bench for three of the last four, and he has to be frustrated with his game time, especially with Cristian Romero absent through injury.

But according to his agent, Florin Manea, talk of a return to Italy for Dragusin is very premature and, at this stage, unfounded.

“Radu didn’t ask me for anything,” he insisted to Digi Sport. "I said we won’t talk until the end of the championship; he’s focused on saving Tottenham. I also talked to him last night, we have time, no one is rushing us for now. If someone calls me, you’ll realise I’m talking, but I haven’t been contacted, I’m telling you the truth.”

“As I said, his priority now is saving Tottenham. I haven’t talked to Fiorentina, Juventus or even Tottenham. I’ll arrive in England next week, I’ll meet with Radu and we’ll see,”

Dragusin has never really proved himself at Tottenham, producing disastrous performances aplenty last season, when playing at centre-back under Ange Postecoglou. To his credit, the Romanian has produced some better displays this season. However, he still hasn't looked like the player Tottenham thought he was when they committed £21.5million plus add-ons to signing him from Genoa in the winter of 2024.
