Ah, Manchester United. The memories.

Ange Postecoglou didn't oversee too many victories in an utterly bonkers second season at the helm, but he found a way to beat the Red Devils four times in three different competitions.

So, what have you got Mr. Frank? Tuesday's 4-0 battering of Copenhagen was very much needed, but whatever was served up against Chelsea hasn't yet been lost to the abyss. This is another big game for the Dane and his team, with United showing signs of improvement under Ruben Amorim over t the past month.

The hosts are still without plenty through injury, but a couple have been welcome back over the past week. Tuesday's performance may convince the manager that few changes are necessary, and here's the team he could pick for Saturday's game.

Goalkeeper & Defenders

Guglielmo Vicario (GK) – After enjoying his quietest outing of the season in midweek, Vicario, who kept his most important clean sheet of 2024/25 against the Red Devils, must be expecting to have a busier afternoon on Saturday.

Pedro Porro (RB) – Porro's got to earn a breather soon, with Frank relying upon him relentlessly at the start of his reign. However, I don't see the Spaniard dropping out of the XI here.

Cristian Romero (CB) – It's good to have the skipper back, isn't it? Romero's importance cannot be understated.

Micky van de Ven (CB) – Lionel van de Ven has embarked on one of his imperious surges before against the Red Devils, doing so to tee up Brennan Johnson at Old Trafford last season. The Dutchman, off the back of his midweek solo brilliance, is a sure bet to partner Romero.

Destiny Udogie (LB) – It is not a coincidence that two of Spurs' brightest attacking performances this season (Leeds and Copenhagen) have come with Udogie flying down the left flank. He's imperative for balance.

Midfielders

João Palhinha (CM) – The technically limited, "holding us back" Palhinha has a team-high seven (!) goal contributions in all contributions this season. He'll be back in the side to help combat Man Utd's direct threat.

Pape Matar Sarr (CM) – Rodrigo Bentancur was brilliant in midweek, but Frank can't roll out the dreaded partnership on Saturday. Sarr also looked good in the week, and his ability to win second balls will be imperative.

Xavi Simons (AM) – United are improving under Ruben Amorim, but they remain imperfect out of possession, and there's scope for Simons, who struggled against Chelsea but looked really good in the week, to have a day out.

Forwards

Mohammed Kudus (RW) – Kudus was absent on Tuesday night and supposedly didn't train on Thursday, but the man himself suggested he'll be okay for the weekend. That's good enough for me.

Randal Kolo Muani (ST) – The goals will come! Kolo Muani passes the eye test, and he has to be the guy until Dominic Solanke returns from injury.

Wilson Odobert (LW) – Udogie - Simons - Odobert. That's the left-sided connection Frank must run with. Odobert is not yet a superstar, but he offers this team technical security and tidy one-on-one abilities.
