By the time the first-ever North London Derby played overseas kicks off, Tottenham will be less than two weeks out from facing Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Super Cup.

Thomas Frank has named a 29-man travelling squad for Spurs' two upcoming friendlies in the Far East, which are set to be a considerable step-up in quality from our recent domestic travails.

The absence of Kota Takai means Mohammed Kudus is the only new signing set to feature in Asia, although there's also scope for several academy players to impress.

However, with the start of the new season edging ever closer, it's time for Frank to put out a starting lineup that somewhat resembles his strongest. With that in mind, here's how we could line up against Arsenal on Thursday.

Goalkeeper & Defenders

Guglielmo Vicario (GK) – Vicario remains Spurs' No. 1, but I wouldn't be against the Italian sharing the minutes with Antonin Kinsky here.

Pedro Porro (RB) – The Spaniard took a knock from full-back partner Djed Spence in training on Monday, but should be absolutely fine to feature against the Gunners.

Cristian Romero (CB) – The captain for Thursday's bout has been all smiles in pre-season so far, with speculation surrounding his future dwindling in prominence.

Micky van de Ven (CB) – Romero will have his trusted partner alongside him for the first time this summer, and the pair may be tasked with shunning the threat of new Arsenal striker Viktor Gyokeres.

Djed Spence (LB) – Destiny Udogie's absence from the squad means Spence will get the nod at left-back here. Frank also has Ben Davies to call upon, but the Englishman impressed in this role last season.

Midfielders

Lucas Bergvall (CM) – Tottenham have issues in central midfield from a ball-progression perspective, so the dynamic Swede's presence is crucial.

Rodrigo Bentancur (CM) – Bentancur missed out on Saturday but has flown out to Hong Kong and could find himself operating alongside Bergvall in Thursday's North London Derby. In truth, I'm not sure what my favoured midfield combination is with the current personnel.

Pape Matar Sarr (AM) – I expect Sarr to be used as a weapon out of possession in the advanced midfield role after scoring twice against Wycombe on Saturday.

Forwards

Mohammed Kudus (RW) – The Ghanaian supplies the ingenuity and off-the-cuff magic this Spurs team sorely lacks, and I'm looking forward to seeing him in action against a daunting opponent.

Richarlison (ST) – Dominic Solanke is dealing with a minor ankle injury, so Richarlison, who could yet leave the club this summer, will start up top in Hong Kong.

Mathys Tel (LW) – Son Heung-min will get his minutes in Seoul against Newcastle, with Frank likely to utilise his French youngsters out wide against the Gunners.
