Tottenham Hotspur battled Everton at home with their season and existence on the line in the final game of the 2025/26 Premier League campaign. And they lived up to the challenge, showing real fight in front of a raucous home environment, winning 1-0 behind a scrappy set piece goal from Bayern Munich loanee Joao Palhinha.

Here are the player ratings from Spurs historic win to escape relegation and send West Ham United to the EFL Championship instead.

GK Antonin Kinsky, 7.5

Spotless again in goal, and there can be no doubts that he is the new Tottenham No. 1. His save from a late, swerving shot, as well as his overall command of the box, live as highlights of his performance.

LB Destiny Udogie, 7.0

Did his job defensively, passed the ball accurately, and was a decent backdrop for left winger Mathys Tel in support. That's all Tottenham needed from him.

CB Micky van de Ven, 7.0

Excellent on the ball and carried out his duties without fuss defensively. Micky van de Ven is more in than out at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

CB Kevin Danso, 7.5

Fantastic defensive display, putting his body on the line and outmatching the Everton forwards with heart and effort. Danso has been better than Cristian Romero this second half of the season.

RB Pedro Porro, 8.5

What a performance and what a player. This is the level Pedro Porro is truly at as a footballer, winning possession demonically on the defensive end while constantly peppering the box with teasing crosses. Porro led by example for Tottenham and ruled the right flank.

CM Joao Palhinha, 8.5

Scored the winning goal in scrappy fashion, but his performance was about so much more than the goal. The former Fulham man was a wrecking ball and constantly in the battles for Tottenham, winning the ball and drawing fouls with reckless abandon. Spurs will miss his character if he goes.

CM Rodrigo Bentancur, 7.5

On the ball, Bentancur left something to be desired and couldn't quite pull the strings as he usually does against Everton, but his effort and defensive work more than made up for it. He has been so much stronger and more active under Roberto De Zerbi.

AM Conor Gallagher, 7.0

Worked hard and was crisper on the ball. Conor Gallagher isn't a star player, but as a defensive No. 10, so to speak, he's been worth his value these last couple of weeks for De Zerbi.

LW Mathys Tel, 8.0

The biggest source of chance creation in the game with four key passes and also performed his defensive duties very well to help Tottenham's survival bid on that left flank. Mathys Tel has his flaws, but he always tries and is the one to create the magic even when the rest of the front line flounders. His performance mattered a lot today.

RW Djed Spence, 6.5

Put in the work, and while the quality obviously was not there from the fullback in a more attacking position, the effort alone was worth it for Spurs. They will take this over Randal Kolo Muani on the right wing any day of the week.

ST Richarlison, 5.0

A total ghost and the lone negative performer in the Tottenham starting XI, which should seal the fact that Spurs must move on from him this summer if possible.
