Tottenham are reportedly in the market for another West Ham star in 2026, having secured the services of Mohammed Kudus in the summer.

Kudus' £55m move to north London ended an unofficial 14-year transfer embargo between the two London rivals. Scott Parker had been the last man to switch the East End for N17, doing so after the Hammers were relegated from the Premier League in 2011.

Bitter supporters suggested Spurs had been robbed blind, given that Kudus had underwhelmed during his second season at the London Stadium. His debut campaign was stellar, and it'd become clear, as his time at West Ham wore on, that he no longer wanted to be a Hammer.

A move in the summer was inevitable, and the east Londoners begrudgingly accepted our proposal despite interest from Chelsea. Kudus has been an immediate hit for Thomas Frank's Spurs, and the club may aim to repeat the trick with an even bolder and less likely move next year.

There were some reports of Lucas Paquetá emerging as an option after the Morgan Gibbs-White and Eberechi Eze deals fell through, but Spurs instead pivoted to Xavi Simons in their bid to fill a distinct creative void.

Paquetá was chased by Aston Villa late on in the window, but the Brazilian asserted his loyalty to the Hammers after scoring a penalty at Nottingham Forest in a rare victory for them at the start of the 2025/26 season.

However, Paquetá isn't the name discussed in recent reports. Instead, Spanish outlet Fichajes write that Spurs are prepared to offer West Ham £60m for their leading light of so many years: Jarrod Bowen. They suggest that the Hammers, who look poised to be involved in the relegation dogfight, may be open to offers for their captain and talisman in 2026.

Spurs were linked with Bowen when he was at Hull City, before he racked up 248 West Ham appearances and 130 goal contributions. The England international has scored double-digit goals in three separate Premier League campaigns, including 16 in 2023/24.

He's a mightily efficient and effective winger who was once touted to be Mohamed Salah's successor at Liverpool. However, Bowen has long remained loyal to West Ham and his current contract runs until 2030.

Their demise post-David Moyes, and questions over the direction the club is heading, may prompt a rethink, though, for the sake of his career. Relegation would surely see him move on, but West Ham, even after showing a willingness with Kudus, would do absolutely anything to ensure Bowen doesn't wind up on the Lilywhite half of north London.
