Tottenham Hotspur need to rebuild their attack this summer transfer window. Richarlison was the only player who scored double digit goals in the Premier League, and when Mohammed Kudus went down with an injury, there was a serious lack of creativity or explosiveness out wide.

Even after signing Kudus from West Ham United last summer transfer window, Tottenham were highly interested in signing Savinho from Manchester City. But Man City obviously did not share the same interest, noting Savinho's talent and upside. Plus, they could not replace him, as Rodrygo Goes was deemed untouchable by Real Madrid despite transfer rumors suggesting otherwise.

Now, though, Savinho is back on the Tottenham transfer radar and even more likely to move. Because not only are Manchester City more open to a sale with Pep Guardiola gone, but even the player himself is more open to a move despite how horrible Spurs were last season.

Savinho wants Tottenham even more

According to a report from ESPN Brasil, via The Spurs Express, Savinho actually initially had doubts about a Tottenham Hotspur transfer back in the summer 2025 transfer window. But now, Savinho is said to be completely convinced about a move to Spurs. Soon, per ESPN Brasil, Tottenham will submit their first official offer to Manchester City, as the outlet becomes the latest to report of active contacts between the Premier League Big Six sides.

It feels like Savinho has a strong possibility of moving, with a fee of around 50 million pounds reported (ESPN Brasil are saying 52 million pounds on the dot). There is a high degree of mutual interest in the player, and while Savinho did seem interested in Spurs last summer, it sounds like he is much more interested in the transfer this year.

Tottenham are not Premier League title contenders like Man City and actually nearly got relegated last season, but they are a massive club with an even more hardcore fan base. And maybe better yet for Savinho, they are a chance for him to be one of the stars of the club and play every week, whereas he fell further and further on the depth chart with all the competition for places at Man City, only starting seven Premier League games.

Spurs fans will hope that Johan Lange and Vinai Venkatesham do not screw this up, because if a young player of Savinho's caliber from a club as big as Man City wants in, it's a deal that has to get done.
