Tottenham Hotspur are all but officially done with the Mateus Fernandes deal, and soon after, Sandro Tonali should be joining Spurs if all goes well with negotiations with Newcastle United. These will be two pillars of the midfield to greatly boost the weapons manager Roberto De Zerbi has at his disposal, and Spurs have also signed his top center back of choice this summer transfer window in Brighton's Jan Paul van Hecke.
Next up, Spurs need to address their attack, and fans have been begging for players who can provide more goals and individual attacking brilliance. A new striker will be the name of the game again this summer after Randal Kolo Muani flopped badly as a loan signing last year, while Spurs did not even attempt to bring in a top left winger last year to replace Son Heung-min.
Players like Yan Diomande and Bradley Barcola may be out of reach for Spurs this summer, but Diomande's RB Leipzig teammate on the wing, Antonio Nusa, could be an intriguing play and recently showed his quality with a sublime winning goal for Norway over Diomande's Ivory Coast in the World Cup Round of 32.
Tottenham have a prime LW to monitor
According to a fresh report from Philipp Hinze of Sky Sports Germany, while the Bundesliga powerhouse would like to keep Nusa around, RB Leipzig know they have to make sales, not just Diomande to PSG, and do not necessarily consider the Norwegian international untouchable.
Hinze says that Leipzig are looking for at least 60 million euros in order to part ways with the 21 year old winger. He is important to Leipzig, but it sounds like between the two of Yan Diomande and Antonio Nusa this summer, if Leipzig were to lose one, it would preferable to be the latter.
Nusa is a top young player whom Tottenham Hotspur could actually realistically sign, whereas someone like Diomande would cost well over 100 million euros and really already has his heart set on the back to back Champions League winners.
A great technical player who is explosive with speed and strength, Nusa can score goals and create chances. He has not fully blossomed yet for Leipzig and is in the shadow of other players like Diomande and playmaker Christoph Baumgartner, but the sparks are clearly there, such as his beautiful curled winner over the Ivory Coast.
Tottenham need a new left winger to compete with Mathys Tel and Wilson Odobert, and Nusa could give Spurs three very intriguing options for the next decade of wing play at N17.
