Tottenham Hotspur fans are pointing at Man United's new kit, joking about the Red Devils paying homage to their own colours.
Last season, Tottenham had little to celebrate about... Until the end of the season, of course, when they lifted the Europa League trophy and rubber-stamped their place in next season's Champions League against all odds.
All that being said, even despite Tottenham's poor Premier League running, there is one team who had a relatively worse season than them... Man United.
Last season, Spurs beat Man United on four different occasions - The Premier League twice, the League Cup and, most importantly, the Europa League final.
Tottenham fans notice homage paid by Man United's new kit
Now, ever since Man United released their new kit for the 2025-26 season, Tottenham fans are cracking up for the same reason.
In case you missed it, Man United's away jersey for the 2025-26 season features a features a white base with lilac themes... So, in other words, they have a lily-white away kit.
Obviously, this piqued the interest of Tottenham fans, who jumped to Reddit to take an easy dig at the Old Trafford side.
The original poster claimed: "[Spurs] owned Manchester so much last season that United had to turn their kit white," while another joked: "North England is white."
Nothing like four losses against a team to make you change your colours, eh United?
The timing from Man United is coincidental, but comical
Of course, the post on Reddit was meant as a joke. Spurs fans know well enough that Man United has released white kits in the past, and they will continue to release white kits in the future. However, it's comical timing that just a couple of months after the Europa League final, Man United release this.
So, Tottenham won't be the only team to be playing in lily white next season. However, they will be the only team playing in lily white to have last season's Europa League trophy in their cabinet... much to Man United's dismay.
There isn't a huge rivalry between Tottenham and Man United, only a rivalry due to both being in the "big six." However, Tottenham fans should, and will, fire every shot they can after last season.
