Thomas Frank has plenty of respect for Ange Postecoglou, whom he described as a Tottenham "legend" during his first interview with the club.

While the pair undoubtedly contrast philosophically, there may well be some overlap on the talent ID front. With Frank at the helm, Spurs reportedly remain interested in versatile forward Randal Kolo Muani after missing out on him in January.

We pushed hard to sign the Frenchman on loan in the winter, but Kolo Muani opted to sign for Juventus, which forced us to pivot to Mathys Tel later in the window. The 20-year-old starlet has since signed for the club permanently, but more attacking arrivals are expected in N17 this summer.

Bryan Mbeumo, Antoine Semenyo, Mohammed Kudus and Eberechi Eze have all been linked with moves to the club.

According to TBR Football, Kolo Muani is still on Spurs' radar after their failed winter pursuit, and the Premier League seems to be a likely destination if Paris Saint-Germain can't reach an agreement with Juventus. It's believed that the forward wants to remain in Turin after the Club World Cup, having impressed during his first six months with the club.

Kolo Muani scored eight times in 16 Serie A appearances for the Bianconeri.

The Frenchman is unique in profile and certainly a forward who seems more suited to Frank than Postecoglou. He's a fluid operator who likes to roam as opposed to functioning as a positionally limited target man or touchline winger. He's a towering presence who carries the ball ever so well for a player of his height.

It's his versatility and capacity to perform various roles that Frank would appreciate, although Spurs' continued interest surely points towards Johan Lange and his number crunchers singling out Kolo Muani as an unmissable talent as opposed to Ange and the new manager possessing the same taste in forwards.

Moreover, with PSG unlikely to sanction another loan, it may require a small fortune to sign the 26-year-old outright. There are conflicting reports, but the consensus is that the French champions are asking for a fee in the region of €50m. I don't see that club spening that sort of money on a *good* forward when they've just signed Tel for a similar-ish fee.

Spurs do require another attacking option this summer, but Kolo Muani isn't a profile they particularly need.
