Thomas Frank isn't the only man Tottenham fans want out

It has been a truly pathetically long time since Tottenham Hotspur have looked competent against a meaningful opponent in either the Premier League or Champions League, and you could argue that with the exception of their 2-0 win over Manchester City at the beginning of the Thomas Frank tenure in August, Spurs haven't put together a performance worth relishing.

Meanwhile, Tottenham have had a laundry list of embarrassing defeats. The 1-0 and 4-1 losses to arch London rivals Chelsea and Arsenal, respectively, certainly spring to mind. But even matches like the ones against Bournemouth, Wolves, and Nottingham Forest were horrid in terms of the performance Tottenham put forth.

Thomas Frank has obviously come under the most fire for these displays, and his comments about what makes someone a "true" Tottenham fan, as well as his baffling personnel decisions, have really soured Spurs supporters on him. There are many fans who want him out and do not see any viable sporting reason why he should stay, and given the argument put forth by the club is that it is too soon to fire yet another manager, it is honestly hard to argue against these disgruntled fans.

Tottenham fans are scared

The thing is, Frank is not the only person many Tottenham supporters on forums like Reddit and social media sites want out of the club. As Spurs stare down the idea of Fabio Paratici bolting from them for the literal worst team in Italian football right now, Fiorentina, Tottenham fans are beginning to worry that their club is about to enter a period of real turmoil and dysfunction.

They not only want Frank out, but they would rather have Johan Lange be the one to ship himself off to Florence rather than Paratici - or to even join him. Lange was unceremoniously dumped by Aston Villa, and while Lange seemed to get the last laugh as Villa struggled to start this season, their recent reemergence as legitimate Premier League title sleepers behind Arsenal and Manchester City throws that out the window.

Aston Villa are unequivocally better off without Lange, and based on the moves Lange made with Paratici gone, he is not ready to be the main voice in the building at Tottenham. And Spurs fans are understandably very afraid of what a future with Lange and Frank fully running the show would lookl like; they would rather see both men gone before the crisis sets in.
