No prizes for guessing this one. Even in their current demise, going to the Champions and winning 4-0 in their ground is a special occasion.

Funnily enough, Pep Guardiola’s side had actually had a positive first ten minutes to the game or so, but from then on it was one way traffic.

With around 13 minutes on the clock, high pressing from Spurs lead to a high turnover. From the right hand side, Kulusevski looked up and played an inswinging cross towards the back post, where Maddison ghosted in, unmarked, to stab the ball home and take the lead.

Just seven minutes later, he was at it again. Good combination with Son in some tight spaces lead to the midfielder being through on goal.

With little room to work with, he dinked the ball past the onrushing Ederson, making it two goals for him and two goals for Spurs on his 28th birthday.

Seven minutes into the second half, a counter attack from Ange’s side lead to Solanke having time in the box to hold the ball up.

The striker bided his time, looked for the best option – before laying the ball off to Pedro Porro, who smashed the ball into the back of the net – against the club that never gave him a chance.

It looked like it would be a 3-0 win for Spurs, but it got even better. Just into stoppage time, Werner burst past Kyle Walker down the outside, before squaring the ball across to fellow substitute Johnson, who slid the ball home at the far post from all of a yard out.

An incredible day, and an incredible win. Crazy to think it was only a month ago, when it feels like it was about a year ago. So much has happened since, and the vast majority of it has been pretty tough.
