Tottenham Hotspur have found a transfer target worthy of their time, and after letting so many great players like Bryan Mbeumo slip through their grasps this summer, perhaps Daniel Levy and the club will finally put their money with their mouth is when it comes to the claims of pushing Spurs to winning the Premier League and Champions League after all these years.

Following their Europa League triumph in May over Manchester United, Tottenham have brought in only one big talent in the attack, and while Mohammed Kudus has a ton of upside, there is nothing proven about him to this point in his early Premier League career.

And although Savinho is still a bit raw around the edges, the Manchester City star has become a dream target for Tottenham and would immediately be their biggest star on the wings if signed. He recorded eight assists in his first Premier League season in a surprisingly dysfunctional Manchester City side that had no real midfield, and this was a year after the 21-year-old was one of the best players in all of La Liga.

Tottenham are reeling from the James Maddison injury

If Tottenham are able to sign Savinho, which is a huge must at this point after losing Son Heung-min to MLS, then they can't simply rest there either. They still need to add another difference maker, and Tottenham fans will be happy to hear that they have their mind on the right position.

According to a report from Tom Allnut of The Times, Tottenham are still interested in signing a creative midfielder in the summer transfer window before the deadline officially kicks in on Aug. 31. So even if they sign Savinho, the club will still be in the market for a No. 10 afterwards.

Since they missed out on Morgan Gibbs-White from Nottingham Forest, an attacking midfielder is a no-brainer. Tottenham have even more urgency to sign a creator now after James Maddison's ACL tear, and Dejan Kulusevski won't even be able to replace him when the season starts since he's out for another month himself, too, recovering from last season's ailment.

Tottenham fans have been putting Daniel Levy's feet to the fire as best as they can, and for the sake of this team's ability to compete in the Champions League next season and make it to that competition year after year - and actually threaten in it - these are the signings they have to make. Savinho and a playmaker the caliber of an Eberechi Eze or a Xavi Simons; these are the moves that have to happen in 2025.
