Tottenham Hotspur are in fierce negotiations to not only sign long time Manchester City attacking target Savinho from the Etihad, but they are now headed for an even bigger favorite of Roberto De Zerbi's in goal scorer Omar Marmoush alongside him in a package deal that could approach 150 million pounds.
If Spurs are able to score this deal, here is a look at the potential starting XI for the Lilywhites when all the players without long term injuries, like Xavi Simons, are healthy.
Defense: GK Antonin Kinsky - LB Destiny Udogie - CB Micky van de Ven - CB Jan Paul van Hecke - RB Pedro Porro
There can be no doubts or question marks about this back line. Tottenham are in great hands with his back four in front of Antonin Kinsky, who was one of the top goalkeepers in the Premier League once he became the starter last season. Marcos Senesi will get starts and will push Van de Ven and Van Hecke for minutes, but the third center back role remains the most likely one for him.
Midfield: DM Mateus Fernandes - DM Sandro Tonali - AM James Maddison
Xavi Simons isn't going to be back until around 2027 after tearing his ACL near the end of the 2025/26 Premier League campaign, but it should not be long until James Maddison is fully healthy to rule the playmaking role following his own ACL tear at the end of the 2024/25 season. In the mean time, Conor Gallagher may get some starts, but the 10 role is 100 percent Maddison's. As for the anchors behind him, Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali were massive offseason investments and guaranteed starters every single week.
Forwards: LW Savinho - CF Omar Marmoush - RW Mohammed Kudus
If Roberto De Zerbi is able to pull Cody Gakpo away from Liverpool, there will be an open competition between the Dutchman and Savinho for starts on the left, with Gakpo potentially even being favored because of the goals and assists he can bring alongside Marmoush in what will almost be an interchange between the left half space and the center forward positions between the two of them.
But Savinho is probably the better overall player and so dynamic. He is a lock to start on the left even over an impressive Mathys Tel, while Marmoush over Richarlison and Dominic Solanke isn't even a question. With Marmoush up top, Mohammed Kudus should have even more room to be creative and attack defenses on the ball.
