Tottenham Hotspur supporters are excited about how the squad is shaping up for the 2026/27 Premier League season, as Jan Paul van Hecke, Sandro Tonali, and Mateus Fernandes are proven stars who can take Spurs up a notch under Roberto De Zerbi, who approved all three of these blockbuster transfers.
But Lilywhite supporters are also anxiously waiting for some attacking additions. Well, De Zerbi is making it clear that those moves are imminent, calling Tottenham's transfer window only 60 percent done after six signings, implying four more ar to come.
And to that end, De Zerbi says a "bomba" will be arriving shortly, via Hotspur Lane, "The transfer market, it's not finished for sure, but we completed 60 per cent of our project in the transfer market. Now we have another bomba!"
Here are three stars De Zerbi could be talking about as Tottenham's next transfer "bomba" this summer.
Manchester City LW Savinho
The most obvious choice is Savinho, whom Tottenham Hotspur have been interested in for a year now. Everyone thought Tottenham would have had this deal wrapped up when they showed interest in the Man City man to start the summer transfer window, but the Citizens have been surprisingly slow to give Savinho the green light. But with the Brazilian recently making it clear to Manchester City that he wants to go, Tottenham must feel like they will have the Here We Go done shortly.
Liverpool LW Cody Gakpo
Tottenahm are expected to sign two wingers this summer transfer window, and Cody Gakpo is an opposite profile to Savinho, meaning he could mesh really well with him, especially since the two can actually start together with the left footed Brazilian starting on the right wing, too.
Gakpo is coming off a difficult 2025/26 Premier League season for Liverpool but a tremendous World Cup. He has great leadership qualities and technical ability, and Fabrizio Romano has been hinting at his name increasing in monentum at N17.
Manchester City LW Omar Marmoush
Finally, Omar Marmoush is a player Roberto De Zerbi is reportedly high on, and the Egyptian international has all the tools to become one of the world's best if, like Savinho, he were to get regular minutes. While Savinho is the more dynamic out and out winger, Marmoush is also an explosive athlete with more physical strength and goal scoring ability. Mathys Tel has huge potential in this role, but Spurs need someone with more experience. Marmoush used to be one of the Bundesliga's best before making the jump to Manchester City, and he can fulfill the goals from the left that Spurs are missing since Son Heung-min declined.
