Spurs interested in English winger from abroad

According to a report from German media outlet BILD, Tottenham Hotspur are one of a number of clubs that are interested in Jamie Gittens from Borussia Dortmund - who before this season was known as Jamie Bynoe-Gittens.
There was a report from Het Niewusblad last month, that suggested Spurs were one of a number of clubs to send scouts to the Champions League clash between Club Brugge and Borussia Dortmund - along with other Premier League clubs such as Aston Villa, Newcastle United, Manchester United and Manchester City - which would marry up with this report about interest in Gittens.
Should that be the case, Tottenham would have liked what they saw. Gittens scored two goals in just 22 minutes on the pitch, to help Dortmund to a 3-0 victory in a game that they had not played particularly well in.
In the Bundesliga so far this season, the young winger has scored two goals and provided an assist in six games, with just three of those being starts.
Gittens is currently an England U21 international, and will have been in a number of squads with Spurs first team player Archie Gray. In fact, he featured in the same game as Gray tonight, in an incredibly dramatic affair for the U21s.
He has still only just turned 20, with the aforementioned stats showing just how much he has shown for someone of his age. Gittens is a dribbly player, averaging 2.3 dribbles per game in the Bundesliga so far this season, despite only averaging 48 minutes per game.
The Dortmund man was born in London, and was at one point part of Chelsea's academy. Noni Madueke was released by Spurs, went abroad, and ended up back in London with Chelsea. Could we be about to see the opposite with Gittens? Let's see.
