6) Ashley Phillips

Ashley Phillips has been very unfortunate with his time at Stoke City so far. He joined the club on loan from Spurs in the summer, and very quickly started back-to-back wins with clean sheets against Middlesbrough and Plymouth Argyle.

Soon after, manager Steven Schumacher would be sacked. In the game under interim manager Ryan Shawcross, Phillips picked up an injury. By the time he was back, a new manager was in the dugout, and it took the defender a while to get back in the side.

His two games since he has got back into the team have been defeats, but he did pick up his first career goal against Southampton in the Carabao Cup. It has been a difficult league campaign for the Potters, who sit 19th - just one point above the bottom three.
