There isn't a single Tottenham fan out there who wouldn't welcome Harry Kane back in a heartbeat.

Harry Kane is the best player to ever play for Tottenham. Leaving the North London outfit in 2023, Kane has gone from strength to strength. I mean, he knew where the goal was in Lilywhite, but he hasn't lost that at all in Bayern red.

Truth be told, ever since Kane left the club, every single Tottenham fan has harboured hopes of him returning one day. It would be a fairytale end to his fairytale career, and he could finally claim that record from Alan Shearer.

But is a return to Tottenham actually possible? In the Lilywhite corner, Fabrizio Romano...

Fabrizio Romano spills the tea on Harry Kane's return to Tottenham

Speaking to his YouTube audience, Fabrizio Romano revealed everything there is to know about Harry Kane's potential return to Tottenham.

In his own words, Romano said: "We started having links with a potential comeback of Harry Kane to Tottenham in 2026 after the World Cup. Remember that Tottenham have a priority option. In case Kane decides to leave Bayern in 2026 or in 2027, Tottenham will have a priority, then at the end, it's always Harry Kane deciding.

"Thomas Frank says 'all the Spurs fans and me too, we would love to have Harry Kane back.' A nice message, it starts to open the doors for a return of Harry Kane."

"This is not something Kane will decide now. Kane is fully focused on Bayern, Kane wants to win important titles at Bayern."

So, no major update here. The main points are as follows: Tottenham have the priority to sign Harry Kane in 2026 or 2027, however, a move would only be allowed to happen if Harry Kane says so.

Right now, Tottenham fans can hold hopes. It feels like the icing on the cake for the new Thomas Frank era would be to welcome back Kane, since Frank is a known fan of Kane, even when he was manager of Brentford.

Harry Kane recently scored a brace against Chelsea in the Champions League, which sent a stark reminder to fans in the Premier League that Kane is still the best striker in the world.

The dream scenario for Tottenham fans would be to see Harry Kane in a Tottenham shirt, obviously. However, if that doesn't happen, then fans can only hope he doesn't end up at another Premier League club.
