Three wins from three for Michael Carrick has helped reignite Old Trafford in time for Tottenham's visit this weekend.
While Manchester United's board seemed content enough with the apparent progress Ruben Amorim was making in his first full season in charge, the Portuguese rendered his position untenable by falling out with a few key figures.
And thus, Carrick is back for a second bite of the cherry as interim boss. Victories over the Premier League's top two served as immediate vindication, and some Spurs supporters remain hopeful that the club will make a similar managerial change.
However, last week's dramatic 3-2 win over Fulham depicted flaws within Carrick's framework, and the visiting Lilywhites will be out to exploit such vulnerabilities in the Saturday lunchtime kick-off, having earned a feel-good point last Sunday.
Here's the team Thomas Frank could pick at the Theatre of Dreams.
Tottenham predicted lineup vs. Man Utd (3-4-2-1)

Goalkeeper & Defenders
Guglielmo Vicario (GK)—While many are content with Vicario being moved on this summer, Spurs' No. 1 is still capable of the sublime, as he proved when he remarkably denied Rayan Cherki last Sunday.
João Palhinha (CB)—The back three didn't work last time out, but Frank's not going to ditch the idea entirely. Wouldn't it be ironic for the 3-4-2-1 to return to Old Trafford just a month removed from Amorim's exit?
Cristian Romero (CB)—The captain got another slap on the wrist for his social media antics, but is at least feeling better physically. He may be fined for an Instagram caption, but any punishment won't go as far as removing him from the matchday squad.
Micky van de Ven (CB)—After overcoming a minor injury, Van de Ven is ready to return to the Tottenham team. The Dutchman produced an outstanding assist for Brennan Johnson on this ground last season.
Wing-Backs & Midfielders
Djed Spence (RWB)—Frank suggested Spence has a chance of playing this weekend, and I'm simply guessing that the Englishman, who missed last Sunday's draw with a calf issue, is fit to return. Archie Gray will fill in otherwise.
Conor Gallagher (CM)—It's going to be a runner's paradise in Tottenham's midfield this weekend. Gallagher came to life against the Cityzens last time out, but the January arrival may need to produce a positionally disciplined showing to ensure Bruno Fernandes doesn't take over the game.
Pape Matar Sarr (CM)—Could Sarr and Gallagher work? It seems like overkill, but Frank could attempt to simply hassle and harry United's engine room into oblivion. The manager may well have been deterred by Yves Bissouma's first-half showing last week.
Destiny Udogie (LWB)—Diogo Dalot is the weak link in United's backline, and Spurs' combinations down their left flank have purred at times with Udogie and Xavi Simons working in tandem.
Forwards
Xavi Simons (AM)—Key to our second-half resurgence against City, Xavi has now got to put together a string of impressive performances in the Premier League. There should be space for him to exploit.
Wilson Odobert (AM)—I don't think we should be going overly direct against this United team, with Odobert capable of causing problems between the lines. He enjoys linking up with Xavi, and I think the pair could wreak havoc at times on Saturday.
Dominic Solanke (ST)—Solanke's comeback from injury has undoubtedly boosted the Lilywhites, with his importance laid bare once again last weekend. Old Trafford was the site of a memorable Premier League scorpion kick...
