Needless to say, the home side host the majority of the injury problems heading into this match. Confirmed to be ruled out of this match are Timo Werner, Manor Solomon, Ben Davies, Destiny Udogie, Ryan Sessegnon and Fraser Forster.
It remains to be seen whether Richarlison will be fit for this match but the early signs are not positive. He was omitted from the Brazil squad for the Copa America, despite being one of the best attacking assets. Therefore, it is highly unlikely he will return in time for this midweek game.
Man City team news
Man City have one injury concern heading into this game. Nathan Ake, who has been an important player in Pep Guardiola's squad, was ejected from play early on against Fulham at the weekend. It seems like a race against time for him to be fit but there are options for Man City either way.
Other than that, Jack Grealish is expected to make his return against Tottenham, as per MEN.
