Tottenham transfer news - Adrien Rabiot could stick with Juventus

Last time out, it was believed that Tottenham were gaining an advantage in the race to sign Adrien Rabiot. Ange Postecoglou had a plan to make an early move to get ahead of the curve and convince the free agent to join Spurs. However, the player's stance has since been revealed and it's not good news for Tottenham.

According to a report by Caught Offside, Fabrizio Romano has insisted that Adrien Rabiot is more likely to discuss a new contract extension with the Old Lady, rather than entertain any move to Tottenham.

Here's what Romano had to say: “People at Spurs are monitoring midfielders in general and Adrien Rabiot could be big opportunity for many clubs. Still, I’m not aware of concrete contacts between Tottenham and Rabiot for now. From what I heard, Rabiot will also give priority to talks with Juventus over a new deal before deciding his future.”

So, the Messiah has spoken. Until any update is issued, it looks like Tottenham do NOT have any advantage with Adrien Rabiot.

Tottenham transfer news - No Spurs future for Tanguy Ndombele

This one isn't going to come as a surprise, but Hotspur HQ published a report yesterday stating that there doesn't look to be a future for Tanguy Ndombele at Spurs. Ange Postecoglou does not envision a place in the starting lineup when he returns from his loan spell at the end of this season.

Tottenham transfer news - Tottenham REALLY like Pedro Neto

Fabrizio Romano isn't entirely the bearer of bad news, though. In fact, the transfer oracle has said some pretty positive comments on The Here We Go Podcast about Spurs in the race for Pedro Neto.

In his own words (quoted by TBR), Romano said: "He has been in the list of many clubs in recent years, a few years ago he was really appreciated by Arsenal, and then Liverpool and also other clubs started following him. I will include Tottenham because I am hearing that there is someone in the club [who is] a big fan of the skills of Pedro Neto."
