Tottenham are set to face Qarabag at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in their UEFA Europa League league stage opener. Ange Postecoglou’s men enter the fixture on a high, following back-to-back victories, including a 3-1 triumph over Brentford in the Premier League and a 2-1 Carabao Cup win against Coventry.
Despite this recent form, Spurs' start to the season had raised concerns, with just 4 points from their first 4 league games. Now, they turn their attention to Europe, where they face Qarabag, who top the Azerbaijan league and arrive on the back of a three-match winning run.

Following a difficult spell where they picked up just 4 points from their opening four Premier League matches, Ange Postecoglou's side responded well, progressing in the Carabao Cup with a 2-1 victory over Championship side Coventry City.
Next up, they hosted Brentford, securing a 3-1 triumph that provided a much-needed morale boost ahead of their European campaign. Unfortunately, Richarlison and Wilson Odobert remain sidelined through injury.
