AS Monaco right-back Vanderson has recently become a hot topic in the transfer window, with multiple top clubs eyeing the talented defender.

According to Area Napoli, Napoli has now entered the race to sign Vanderson, who has already been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United.

Vanderson, valued at approximately £40 million by Monaco, is known for his impressive performances as a right-back.

The 23-year-old Brazilian's potential move has gained momentum following reports that Tottenham's Emerson Royal is expected to complete a transfer to AC Milan in the near future.

With Royal’s departure imminent, Tottenham has been exploring options to replace him, and Vanderson has frequently appeared on their radar.

Tottenham are considering bolstering their right-back position, and Vanderson has been mentioned as a suitable candidate. However, Spurs faces stiff competition, particularly from Napoli.

According to Area Napoli, Napoli's coach, Antonio Conte, plans to deploy Giovanni Di Lorenzo as a right-sided center-back in a three-man defense for the upcoming season. To cover the right-back position, Napoli is targeting Vanderson, aiming to secure him before the transfer window closes.

In addition to Tottenham and Napoli, Manchester United have also expressed interest in Vanderson. The Red Devils view him as a potential replacement for Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who has struggled with form and injuries. This further intensifies the competition for Vanderson's signature.

Despite the ongoing speculation and interest from these prominent clubs, Napoli is reportedly only expected to make a formal bid in the final days of the transfer window.

This timing could play a crucial role in the outcome of the transfer saga, as other clubs like Tottenham might also be making last-minute moves to secure their targets.

For Tottenham, things get trickier with Djed Spence potentially leaving, which could create a hole at right-back.

However, some reports say Spurs might not rush to fill this spot right away. Archie Gray is considered a decent backup for Pedro Porro, so Tottenham might shift their focus to other parts of the team instead.
