Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly one of several Premier League clubs keeping a close eye on Bryan Mbeumo after the forward expressed his interest in a new challenge away from Brentford, according to HITC.
Mbeumo joined Brentford in 2019, back when the club was still in the Championship. Since then, he has steadily developed into one of the most feared attackers in the Premier League.
The Frenchman, primarily a right winger but also capable of playing as a number nine or ten, had a standout 2023-24 season. With Ivan Toney suspended, Mbeumo stepped up, finishing the campaign with nine goals and six assists in 25 league appearances.
In a recent interview, the 25-year-old admitted that he feels ready to step up to a bigger club. This statement has reportedly put several top sides on alert, including Spurs.

Tottenham, Liverpool, and Newcastle compete for £60m Premier League player
According to HITC, Tottenham, Liverpool, and Newcastle United have all been informed by intermediaries that Mbeumo is open to a transfer.
However, Brentford are not keen on losing their star attacker. Thomas Frank’s side is expected to demand a fee exceeding £50 million for Mbeumo. With Ivan Toney set to leave this summer, Brentford will be determined to hold on to Mbeumo and might even push the asking price closer to £60 million.
The high valuation may deter many potential suitors, but Mbeumo’s versatility and proven Premier League experience make him a highly attractive prospect.
For Tottenham, adding a player of Mbeumo’s caliber could significantly bolster their attacking options. The summer transfer window is shaping up to be an interesting period for Spurs and their fans, as they look to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season.
