It is always a tough ask when Man City come calling but famously, Spurs have made it look easy in recent seasons. That said, there is more at play in this game as Ange Postecoglou MUST secure a win to qualify for the Champions League, with the hopes of Aston Villa slipping up again on the final day. In preparation, let's take a look at the Tottenham injury news vs Man City...

Man City injury news vs Tottenham

As per Manchester Evening News, Ange Postecoglou has suffered a double injury blow ahead of hosting Man City this evening...

Richarlison will miss the next two games through injury

The first injury blow to Tottenham Hotspur comes in the form of Brazil international Richarlison. There were eyebrows raised when he was surprisingly omitted from the Brazil national team, despite being one of their usual attackers.

Confirmed by Ange Postecoglou, Richarlison will miss this evening's game against Man City. In his own words, Postecoglou said: "Not good [news], [Richarlison will] miss the next two games. Nothing serious."

It is likely that Richarlison would have had an involvement in this game, as one of Tottenham's best players this season. Therefore, it is a big blow that he will not even feature from the bench.

Yves Bissouma is a late rule-out vs Man City

Perhaps the most surprising rule-out is Yves Bissouma, who unfortunately picked up a knee injury in the buildup and will not play a part against Man City in midweek. This was confirmed by Ange Postecoglou who, in his own words, said: "Bissouma unfortunately picked up a knee injury so he'll miss the last two games. Other than that everyone who was available is available."

Bissouma has started 26 Premier League games this season and this, unfortunately, will be his final two. A reliable player who held the line for Spurs will be a big miss against Man City.
