Tottenham goalkeeper joins League One side on loan

It has been confirmed by the club that young Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Josh Keeley has signed a new contract at the club until 2027, and joined League One side Leyton Orient on a season-long loan for the 24/25 campaign.
He will join fellow Spurs youngster Jamie Donley at Orient, who have struggled so far, picking up zero points from their first four league games. However, they did pick up an impressive win away to Millwall in the second round of the Carabao Cup, meaning they have won both of their cup games so far.
A major reason for the slow start to the season has been goalkeeper Zac Hemming, who made an opta defined "error leading to goal" in their defeats to Bolton Wanderers and Birmingham City, both of which were games Orient lost by one goal. He was publicly scolded by manager Richie Wellens afterward.
So, hopefully, the signing of Keeley helps improve that and they can start to move up the table with both Spurs loanees featuring regularly.

The Irish goalkeeper spent the second half of last season on loan at fellow North London side Barnet, replacing reigning Player of the Year Laurie Walker in goal. He helped the Bees to a second-place finish in the National League but unfortunately became unstuck in the play-off semi-finals.
However, on an individual basis, Keeley did enough to earn himself a move to a League One side. The 21-year-old has a pretty good pedigree, having represented the Republic of Ireland U21s against Croatia over the summer, and has been selected for their upcoming games against Turkey and Latvia over the international break.
He was not in the matchday squad for the defeat to Shrewsbury Town on Saturday but could be in line to make his debut for Orient against Arsenal U21s on Tuesday night in the Bristol St Motors trophy.
