It is evident that Tottenham Hotspur is about to start a new phase with a fresher squad, letting go of certain players who were important for several years. Despite the already announced contract extension of Son Heung-min, the departures of Harry Kane (last year) and Hojbjerg this year represent a turning point for the Spurs.
The Dane played 36 matches with Tottenham in the Premier League during the 2023-2024 season, where he was only a starter in 8 of those games. He was unable to score any goals or provide an assist.
